Meet Miss Grace.
Holiday kisses for everyone!
Merry Christmas sweet girl!
I little bit of mystery makes photography fun. I often wonder about the stories behind the images I see, what story do you see in this image?

Nikon D70, studio strobes.
Selective coloring to highlight the model’s eyes.
Minimal color correcting, stronger contrast.
Eye color = natural.
Thank you so much for the support. Everyone is so nice. Please visit I Heart Faces to see other entries and show them some love, too…
I’ve been a follower of I Heart Faces for a while. I rarely enter the contests because I am a busy working mom and I only shoot when I get the chance. I hope this entry brings you a smile as big as this kid’s.
I didn’t think to post what camera I used…
Canon G10 with the underwater housing. The settings were auto and I am thoroughly pleased with the results. So pleased, I had nightmares that night about losing, breaking or sinking the housing/camera. EEK!!

I am.
I always feel this way when spring gets here. And this year is no different.
I am lucky to have several photo ops this spring (and summer) with some very special people.
Stay tuned and see what’s coming…
Sumaya is a college classmate and friend. She hired me to photograph her several months ago. I was honored to have obliged. The session went ok, and after talking with her she told me she wasn’t really happy with her images. She got some great shots from that session but she wasn’t able to twirl the scarves like she had wanted to get captured. I understood and went on a silent hunt for the “perfect” location.
It wasn’t until I went to the Caroleeena hoop workshop that I found THE PERFECT SPOT!!! I made arrangements to have Sumaya be prepared to meet me at the venue and I would text her images of the venue for her to decide if the space was large enough. She said it would be and she packed her SUV with several costumes and headed down the road on her hour long trip.
In between hoop sessions, I would meet with Sumaya on the stage to capture her images in her various costumes. And in between shooting her, I was shooting the hoop sessions. All in all I think she will be happy with these… At least… I hope she will be.
Sumaya, it is always a joy and pleasure to see you, work with you, and spend time catching up. I look forward to our next session. I wish you the best in the mean time.
Here is my favorite images from the whole session. Please view my Facebook Fan Page for the other 50+ images. If you are interested in booking Sumaya for your next event, you may contact her at her website or her Facebook fan page.
